CFD Research Corporations Biomedical Technology Division is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in experimental micro/nano-fluidics with expert knowledge of micro/nano-fabrication procedures. The job responsibilities include

  • Lead lithography based micro/nano-fabrication efforts on various research projects. Prior experience in fabrication with different substrates, i.e., glass, silicon, polymer, is highly desired.
  • Conduct experimental investigations with an aim to testing, characterizing and evaluating the performance of various micro/nano-fluidic devices.

 Job Requirements:

  • MS/PhD in electrical, mechanical, chemical, biomedical engineering or related field; preferred experience level will be 0-3 of experience.
  • Laboratory experience with specialized electrical & electronic instrumentation, optical equipment, image acquisition and processing, data acquisition hardware and software, and experience with CAD software is desired. Experience with electrical/optical diagnostics with biological applications is a plus.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written communication, to prepare summaries, graphs, and other material to document experimental results.
  • US citizenship is desired.
