We are currently seeking highly motivated and innovative researcher with experience in Tissue Engineering to join our dynamic Biomedical Technology Division.   This group provides research and laboratory support on the development and characterization of primary and stem cell based tissues and organs.  

 Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working with a group of scientists and engineers across multiple disciplines and research areas, including collaboration and communication
  • Implement previously developed test protocols, investigate improvements and modifications, validate and document new processes

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant science or engineering discipline (Master's and PhD's welcome to apply)
  • Hands on experience with tissue engineering, emphasizing development of functional assays for the developed tissues
  • Prior experience with stem cells, primary cells, co-culture systems using human cells and biomaterials characterization is a plus
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, to prepare reports, patents, grant writing, and documenting technical results & processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • US Citizenship is desired, Permanent Resident status is required
